Languages mazandaran[edit]

In Mazandaran people don’t just speak mazandarani. Mazandaran in terms of language diversity is similar to Golestan. In the far west, a dialect of Gilaki is spoken whilst on the coastal regions of the far east, a turkic language, possibly turkmen, is spoken. Too, there still are small communities of Qajars living in the east of the province, my grandfather having been one (living around the city of Qaem Shahr). Yes they are the minority in the region but still enough to be worth mentioning. The extent of those languages is a bit tricky to know. 77.64.143.197 (talk) 13:21, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
