Contested deletion - Company is defunct but was notable at the time of its existence and is notable in conjunction with Jud Süß (1940 film)[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it was transwikied from the Swedish Wikipedia. The company is now defunct so having an article is not a case of spam. Prior to bankruptcy, the parent company was Nordisk Film, for which the English Wikipedia has an article. My primary reason for creating this article was to have a target for a Wikilink from Jud Süß (1940 film). There is at least one reliable source who mentions that the Nordisk Tonefilm sought permission to distribute the film in Sweden but was turned down by the Censor. It may well be that the right way to go is to merge this article into Nordisk Film but speedy deletion is inappropriate in this situation. Discussion of this article should either go to AFD or a merge proposal should be made. — Pseudo-Richard (talk) 17:36, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Film Mio...[edit]

How is it possible that Nordisk Tonefilm was one of the prodaction companies of Mio in the Land of Faraway (1987, source) if "the company was sold in 1969"? ThomasPusch (talk) 18:56, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
