What's the difference between Kawkaw and Nkawkaw[edit]

Kawkaw in Akan language means red red but Nkawkaw is the first settlers of Ashantiland who founded Nkawkaw meaning I went back from the language of Oji now called Anii or Basila. What is your take on that? 176.72.115.40 (talk) 20:38, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The two are different words with different meanings. Just as you pointed out, kɔkɔɔ which is pronounced as Kawkaw means wipe plantain. However Nkawkaw is a town. Ampimd (talk) 23:21, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
