Nomenclature: atoms vs bonds[edit]

Multiply times (within this wiki-article) the nitrone+olefin cycloaddition is referred as [3+2] cycloaddition. This is very bad and very annoying! According to the IUPAC-nomenclature the numbers within the squared bracket are refering the number of participating electrons and not the number of ring-forming atoms. Therefore nitrone-olefin cycloaddition must be referred as a pretty standard [4+2] cycloaddition. Or -more precisely- it must be referred as [π4s + π2s] cycloaddition. Sorry for the bad grammar, I don't speak english... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.6.62.227 (talk) 10:13, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Appears to have been the same user that posted here and there at about the same time. Though whether that's a problematic COI, and whether they wrote it originally under contract from them for there under non-free license and therefore are not authorized to free-license post it here? Previously discussed (without clear resolution that I can discern) at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chemistry/Archive 21#Organic Reactions. DMacks (talk) 16:26, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like a paste-in job judging from the line returns. But I am not going to worry about the copying or whatever because I dont understand the role of the Organic Reactions Wiki vs Organic Reactions the book series, which possibly is open source. Sourcing or duplication should be acknowledged obviously though.--Smokefoot (talk) 16:43, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
