Cleanup[edit]

I know people have been working hard on this article for a while but its leading a bit off the beaten track here. Wikipedia is supposed to summaries what the topic is all about - not drop a load of quotes on the topic. As a Baha'i I naturally highly respect what the Universal House of Justice and the Guardian have written about the feast, but, in my honest opinion doesn't read well.

I really think that pretty much every quote should be removed. Quotes are only really necessary on contentious points, and even then only quote the smallest amount necessary (just a few words).

I may of course be wrong so please voice your disagreement if you feel so. -- Tomhab 01:43, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hmm. I can see what you mean. I was largely trying to avoid the "no original work" thing, and focus on external "facts". Most particularly, I was trying to avoid too much opionion. I'll think about it and take a crack at it. -- Christian Edward Gruber 11:15, 2005 Jun 23 (UTC)

Ahhh right :) You don't have to go that far though. Don't worry about it in most cases though as its not contentious. I reckon the only POV mistakes you can make on this would be saying "all" instead of "most" or something small like that -- Tomhab 11:36, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Non-Baha'is[edit]

I have updated the article with information form the 17th May 2009 letter from the Universal House of Justice to the National Spiritual Assemblies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.188.23.230 (talk) 11:06, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Feast calendar and names[edit]

I think it would be nice for Baha'is and Non-Baha'is alike to post the names of the months, for example, Dominion, or Mulk. (Optical Serenity (talk) 07:19, 5 February 2012 (UTC))[reply]

The month names are in Baha'i calendar. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 08:20, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
