Lead[edit]

  • I suggest moving Players control Oliver, a young boy who sets out on a journey to save his mother. to the next paragraph of the lead.
  • The artwork was also inspired by Studio Ghibli's other productions. - artstyle instead of artwork
  • The developers used the power of the PlayStation 3 to its full potential to render the world with great detail. - Not really necessary. Every developer do the same thing, unless we are comparing it to Dominion of the Dark Djinn
  • at its story, graphic design and unique gameplay - remove "unique" for consistency
  • became one of the best-selling PlayStation 3 games - not mentioned in the sales section. Besides, the definition of "best-selling PlayStation 3 games" is a bit blur.

Gameplay[edit]

  • players enter the World Map, which can be navigated, or used to select a destination - "which can be navigated" is not necessary
  • forms of transport to navigate the world - Information about riding on dragons should be mentioned directly in the gameplay section, not by the note, especially when you mention them in the lead
  • they enter a battle mode The source does not call it "battle mode"
  • During battles, players command a single human ally, or one of the familiars accompanying them. - Not sure what "command" means here. You control them, or issue orders to them? AI-controlled companions, or you can switch between characters as mentioned by the lead?
  • Familiars level up and evolve alongside the human characters; each have unique statistics and capabilities - Each upgrades have unique statistics, or each familiar have unique statistics?
  • and can be guided through their upgrades with treats - Do not understand this.
  • players may receive experience points - wikilink experience points
  • characters' levels will increase, and their abilities improve - "will improve"
  • Should a party member lose health or mana points - In what conditions they would lose these points? Wikilink health as well.
  • restored by picking up a green and blue orb, respectively - Rephrase it to "restored by picking up orbs, known as "glims""
  • enables the powerful "Miracle Move" - What it is then? Some basic description of this would be great.

Development[edit]

  • Conceived as a project for Level-5's tenth anniversary - when is Level5's tenth anniversary? the year the game released, announced, or something else?
  • witnessing Hino's passion for the project - The development of the game began before the collaboration between the two companies? If it is true, this needs some clarification. You should move the setting design section above the art design section
  • Hino wished to incorporate the "heartwarming touch" of Studio Ghibli productions into the game - Rephrase it to "Hino wished the game to have a heartwarming feel". The "Ghibli feel" or something similar was mentioned too many times in this section.
  • incorporating a "Ghibli-like" style - Almost identical to "was greatly inspired by Studio Ghibli's work"
  • the team adjusted the latter's color tones - which team?
  • arranging the terrain in "fun and fascinating ways". - Any examples on how they achieve this?
  • Professor Layton series (2007–present) - Do not really think "(2007–present)" is necessary. But this is optional. I do not see much problem leaving it there
  • By the time he was cast in the role, voice recording for the other characters had begun. - Do not really see the significance of this, unless he began this voice acting role the latest.
  • The team found they could render the game world with great detail - Add "with the PlayStation 3," after "the team found that"
  • development on the localized version of Wrath of the White Witch stopped as the game was submitted for manufacturing - Suggest rephrasing it to "development on the localized version of Wrath of the White Witch was completed and the game was submitted for manufacturing"

Reception[edit]

  • Too much quotes. You should paraphrase some of them, especially for the second paragraph
  • Andrew Fitch named the world one of the game's standout features - Does he mention why?
  • and GameSpot's VanOrd appreciated the use of humor - Should be mentioned in the story reception paragraph
  • Information about the game's release seems to be lacking. Information like the Special Edition, the game's release dates, post-release support etc.
