Local versus District, Region and Province[edit]

Ngcobo, Eastern Cape covers an area that includes "hundreds" of little villages.. Have we got this terminology right? Gregorydavid 14:57, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see Ngcobo, Eastern Cape is actually "local", that means the villages are like wards..

Reunion at Nkwenkwana SPS by all who attended this school[edit]

The former pupil of Then Nkwenkwana Junior Secondary school currently SPS are gathering fhoughts and effort to contribute towards the development of the school. This effort is aimed at ploughing back to their own home school and is geared at encouraging the kids to stay in the education system. The grouping is newly formed only few weeks old but has already moved far ito its plans and identified low hanging fruits. Watch the space for the change to be made in this village all out of the love shared by these wonderful individuals. The current plans among other things is to contribute towards facilitating Farewell for GRADE 7s, helping children from disadvantaged house holds. One other important aspect is to organize a reunion in December 2022 to launch the idea and do a fundraising event through a gala dinner, those who have known high level people that can be invited to this day are requested to start approaching them or share details with the organizers. The theme of the event is "Where are they and what are they doing" this open up a platform for people who were in the same class year to meet and catch up. The event would allow people to note each other's successes and share positive experiences. The interaction is hoped to continue building momentum for this legacy to remain and leave some footprints. The piece is written by Linda Mqikela, a former pupil from the 80s. Lisakhanyadike (talk) 21:04, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
