Hi Erebus555

Thanks for letting me drop a link to the Manchester New Technology institute page from your New Technology Institute article. I was just wondering the reason behind 'cleaning up' one of the external links to the NTI Blog? I must admit that I do not know the complete external link policy of Wikipedia and I don't want to break the rules, but the NTI Blog is an credible news source of the NTI's activities. If you can point out where we went wrong it will prevent us from making the same mistake again. Regards, (ManchesterNTI 10:36, 19 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Blogs are generally considered to be unreliable links per WP:EL, so whilst they may actually be quite good sources of information, Wikipedia does not find them reliable to be used in the encyclopedia. - Erebus555 10:44, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the advice. Regards, (ManchesterNTI 10:55, 19 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]
