I'm confused. It's a Christian Rock band, but this album's genre is credited as Emo?--Martin925 04:45, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It can be two genres - it's a Christian rock album and also an emo album Jubella 17:48, 21 April 2006 (UTC)Jubella[reply]

How can the genre be emo if the band is christian rock/alternative rock ? It should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tomvasseur (talkcontribs) 15:52, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why is New Fast Automatic listed as a track of Never Take Friendship personal? If it was ever featured on any edition of Never Take Friendship Personal, it should be listed as a B-side, for Stephen Christian (the lead-singer) states, when he releases a link to this song, that it is "a b-side song called 'New Fast Automatic' from our album Never Take Friendship Personal" (http://twitter.com/#!/stephenanberlin/status/98948330620592130). This should be done by putting it in a seperate list, as is done in all other Anberlin album-articles (see for example Cities), and not by putting (B-side) after the songs name. Correct me if I'm wrong, because I could be wrong, but as far as I know was this song never featured on an Anberlin-album, not even as B-side. In that case it shouldn't be on this page at all, but rather on the general Anberlin page, stating that Anberlin released a single demo that never made it to the album (somewhat like Embrace the Dead was) I think this is the case because of the following post of Stephen Chrisitan on AbsolutePunk.net: OK GUYS LISTEN UP. A WHILE BACK I POSTED LYRICS TO ON AN OLD BLOG OF MINE. ON THERE WAS LYRICS TO A SONG CALLED ‘NEW FAST AUTOMATIC’. AFTER ANBERLIN’S TWITTER ACCT GOT BLOWN UP WITH HOW TO GET THAT SONG WE FIGURED WE SHOULD TRY AND DIG IT UP! AND JOEY WAS AMAZING AND MIXED IT ALL UP. THE THING IS WE WANTED TO GIVE IT TO YOU GUYS FIRST! SO THANKS SO MUCH ABSOLUTEPUNK.NET FOR SUPPORTING ANBERLIN FOR ALL THESE YEARS, AND FOR YOU THE READERS OF ABSOLUTE PUNK! SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADUE HERE IS YOUR FREE DOWNLOAD TO OUR OLD DEMO ‘NEW FAST AUTOMATIC’ THAT WAS SLATED TO COME OUT ON NEVER TAKE FRIENDSHIP PERSONAL.

NEW FAST AUTOMATIC (NTFP DEMO)

LOVE, YOUR FRIENDS IN ANBERLIN

In this sentence: "SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADUE HERE IS YOUR FREE DOWNLOAD TO OUR OLD DEMO ‘NEW FAST AUTOMATIC’ THAT WAS SLATED TO COME OUT ON NEVER TAKE FRIENDSHIP PERSONAL." Christian states is a demo that never made it. Roelbrouwer (talk) 09:26, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Emo[edit]

I found a reliable source that claims that this was part of the "golden age of emo". There's a mediation notice that's been there for a while, but that is a) 9 years old and b) only in regards to the band being recognized as "Christian". Someone got upset earlier, so fine, have it your way. I don't see why with a source it can't be added. dannymusiceditor Speak up! 22:07, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's an odd source, but it is a RS. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:47, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
