Merge from Nathinites[edit]

A dup article was created using the old Catholic Enc. (and hence the now very uncommon spelling "Nathinites") suggest rapid merge. There's another stub somewhere which also needs redirecting here. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:19, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, boy does this article need work. And could we have some cites in the header? In the Talmud they are a different yichus from Avdei Shlomo. But I can't fault your work. Can you suggest a template? It's not a stub, just a mess. (And why does Gibeonites suggest they are different groups?)Mzk1 (talk) 19:39, 24 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Recommended edit[edit]

The article now includes: "The term was applied originally in the Book of Joshua (where it is found in its verbal form". I recommend you add the reference. In chapter 9 of Joshua it refers to the Gibeonites but I see no verb form of Nethinim.Jimbaum (talk) 16:44, 10 December 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jimbaum (talkcontribs) 16:41, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
