The Persian conquest of Jerusalem in 614CE compared with Islamic conquest of 638CE. Says the Christians revolted after a few months not three years. I cannot find a source for three years. Some jewish sources relate one of Muhammad's companions - Suleiman Farsi, as young brother of Nehemiah, sold into slavery after Jews were defeated, eventually arriving to Yathrib and taking Islam. I think it is said in Abrahamson & Katz article.Greyshark09 (talk) 16:51, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
