Dammar gum[edit]

The article begins "Natural gums are polysaccharides of natural origin" and then lists dammar gum, which according to its own article, is a triterpenoid resins. Triterpenes aren't polysaccharides. Should we broaden the lead sentence to permit other gums, or should we remove dammar gum? Elemimele (talk) 17:29, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
