Missing the point?[edit]

This article seems to be missing the point, to me. There's a comprehensive list of what *could* be a national symbol, but there's not, say, a list of the most common and unambiguous ones, like the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and the Sydney Opera House. I think you have a point. However, sights like that are more unofficial as symbols. They are not symbols in the legal sense of the word, but could of course be added to this page anyway. Arms Jones (talk) 12:38, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
