Two of the same Halls of Fame.[edit]

Okay. I get that the 65 members of the 100 Greatest Players (announced in 2008) who weren't already in the Australian Rugby League Hall of Fame in 2007 only get added to the NRL Hall of Fame in 2018, along with the six more picked in 2018. But surely the 35 of them who were in the Australian Rugby League Hall of Fame by 2007 were in this Hall of Fame then. They weren't in a different Hall of Fame. It was this Hall of Fame which had a 2018 name change. Article suggests this Hall of Fame started in 2018. Didn't it just change its name then and clarify its selection routine/criteria & the interplay with the Immortals concept ?-Sticks66 09:56, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It's a good article ThatOneAussie you've done a great job of explaining a complicated "re-positioning" but I'm not sure it's true to say that Messenger (for instance) was inducted to this Hall of Fame in 2018. He was inducted into the game's Australian Hall of Fame in 2003. That HoF just had a name change in 2018. What do you think ? -Sticks66 10:05, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
