Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted. I'm working on it today to bring it up to date, but this is the first time I've made a wiki page, so I'm trying my best. Instead of nominating it for speedy deletion, perhaps whoever nominated it could actually give some constructive feedback on how I can make it better, or perhaps they could add to it themselves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elisewaugh (talkcontribs) 27 July 2011

As I see it there are two main problems with the article:
  • It is completely unreferenced. In order to remain on Wikipedia, an article must be the subject of reliable source coverage that is independent of the subject. Please provide independent, reliable sources that corroborate the statements made in the article and that establish that this organization meets notability criteria for inclusion, specifically the criteria for organizations and companies.
  • It reads like a brochure to promote the organization. Wikipedia is not a venue for press releases or promotion, and articles must be written in a neutral point of view. How might a person who has nothing to do with this organization write an article?
Since you made a good faith request for help, and I see this article has having potential, I'll withdraw the nomination for speedy deletion. However, if the above problems are not addressed, it is still likely to be nominated for deletion, whether by me or someone else. —KuyaBriBriTalk 18:11, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
