I'm not interested in actually editing the article but I'll just leave this info here. NF leader Robert Cameron was named as being the target of an assassination attempt in 1978. home.alphalink.com.au/~radnat/otherradicalism/04.html & lorikeet.and.com.au/t2/B3-YAGOO.htm ses.library.usyd.edu.au/bitstream/2123/807/1/adt-NU20020222.14582202whole.pdf. It seems there's some controversy over whether he actually was a leader, but the presence of NF seems to be earlier than 1980. There are other articles too if you look for them.

Merit[edit]

I've removed the notability template. The article has merit not only as part of the effort by the British National Front to establish a presence overseas, but because it had an existence of its own within Australian right wing politics.
