History of the bank's main building[edit]

I propose to delete this section. It doesn't really have anything to do with the bank; maybe just mention a brief sentence about it in the other sections. Comments? -- mno 23:47, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think we nessesarily have to delete it. We can move the section to its own article like Building of the National Bank of Ukraine or smthing like that, like Verkhovna Rada and Verkhovna Rada building... but don't delete it. I will search through my books and add more info to the section if I find any. —dima talksb 02:13, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
A la VRU building seems a good idea. Sashazlv 03:55, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds like a plan, I support this, too. -- mno 16:00, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I will preform the split soon. —dima talksb 21:57, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Done, sorry it took so long... —dimæ [diskussionarchiv] 00:53, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Outdated[edit]

Section about the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine seems outdated; see this. Unfortunately I do not have the time now to update. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 16:03, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Political pressures[edit]

Why exactly Yakiv Smolii resigned?

He planned to

conduct a thorough monetary liberalization

work on ensuring a low and stable inflation rate within the period of 5 years in the range of 5 +/- 1%

New content on NBU's response to Russian invasion[edit]

I have added two new sentences on the NBU's response to the Russian invasion. The material is notable (it is a highly unusual action for the NBU or for banks in general); the material is relevant, because this response has apparently become a major focus of the NBU itself (the response is prominently displayed on the NBU's website); and the material is substantiated with credible references. Therefore please do not simply remove the added content. If you have concerns, please discuss them on this Talk page first.

On the other hand, you are welcome to improve the added content by e.g. supplying further references, updating the data (as time goes by), and so on.
