Primary topic?[edit]

Does the ship really stand out as a clear primary topic in comparison to the character Nancy Blackett after which it is named? decltype (talk) 06:43, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good point! It's obviously the character and ideally Nancy herself would be "Nancy Blackett" with the vessel as "Nancy Blackett (cutter)" or similar. If after a discussion there's agreement I think this would need an Admin, as we'd be moving a page onto an existing one, or something. Procedure here. --Old Moonraker (talk) 07:08, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's a fairly simple procedure. I was planning on implementing the move myself, but wanted to see if there were any compelling arguments to retain the status quo before proceeding. decltype (talk) 08:02, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, you are an admin. --Old Moonraker (talk) 10:26, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose the only argument for the status quo is that the boat is a real object rather than a fictional character and there is a Nancy Blackett Trust which is devoted to her upkeep and operations. However, the boat was named after the fictional character. Dabbler (talk) 22:15, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Page move[edit]

Confirming that page was moved/renamed - fictional character now at Nancy Blackett. --Mervyn (talk) 13:53, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
