Interesting Article[edit]

I've only begun to read this article, and appreciate it being in Wikipedia! Thanks, Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 22:20, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

LDS Church[edit]

Old habits are hard to break. Peopl editing Wikipedia continue to refer to the church repeatedly as the "LDS Church", including in this article in which the style guide specifically discourages the use of that term. Why is that? Unless there's a good reason, I will start helping Wikipedia follow the style guide. TLP (talk) 21:14, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The manual of style on here for Mormonism explains why they say “LDS Church” instead of anything else. FriedTorchic (talk) 09:28, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Where is this style guide or manual? The church's own style guide has no authority in WP. Please provide the WP link. Thank you. Zaslav (talk) 23:47, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Title capitalization[edit]

The title of this article, along with a provision at MOS:LDS, violates MOS:THEINST, a site-wide guideline which trumps WP:LOCALCONSENSUS. Please participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Latter Day Saints § Capitalization issue. Thanks. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:57, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
