WPJ Assessment Commentary[edit]

Fascinating to think of multiple kingdoms within the land we now know only as Japan. A few points to consider as the article is improved:

  • Coverage: So, there was a country? And the Han Chinese knew about it? What else? There's very little about the history. Did it make a war on somebody? Did the Han help improve their infrastructure or agriculture? Also, after the farmer found the seal, then what? Surely there were some archaeological excavations done. What were the results?
  • Structure: Divide the notes and the references sections. There's a template for footnotes, ^ , or something. There should also be seperate sections for chronology, culture (if anything is known), and maybe archaeology theories and conclusions.
  • Supporting materials: An infobox might not be necessary, and photos may be impossible, but what about one of those "Timelines of Japan" boxes? They're often placed on the right side of the page of many Japanese history articles.
