Making a conflict of interest disclosure here on the article's talk page was already a fine decision that matches the guideline's advice.

Factual errors may be removed by anyone; the addition of new text should be discussed here first. This is because of Wikipedia's verifiability requirements (WP:BURDEN comes to mind) and the desire to keep the article neutral (verifiability does not guarantee inclusion). ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:32, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
