Untitled[edit]

Removed the Pac-man reference because it seemed completely useless to the article. This is of course, like any edit, open to debate. Oggleboppiter 09:16, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it is useful to explain why the nebula is named Pacman, and I don't see a reason not to mention this. Since the previous change was 18 months ago and the article's changed several times since then, I've gone ahead and put that information back in; if you or others still feel it should be left out of the article as it stands now, we can discuss it here again.
It would be even more interesting (!) if someone can find a source to say who first used this name. Lessthanideal (talk) 00:22, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think that Pacman nickname should be mentioned here, because NGC 281 is known by this name in many astronomical cirles. Just google-up "pacman nebula", you'll see that every page mentiones this. Vbond (talk) 20:03, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
