Many problems[edit]

This page has many problems. For one, it does not read like an Encyclopedia article. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It reads like an advertisement brochure. For another it is poorly formated -- it appears the author is new to Wikipedia and has little to no experience on how to create an article. Perhaps it might be a good idea to look at how other articles are made and try to emulate them. Finally there is nothing in the article that says why it is notable - why should this be on Wikipedia, why is it historically significant? If these things are not addressed I suspect someone will sooner or later (probably sooner) put it up for a vote to be deleted. -- Stbalbach 03:52, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit tags being removed[edit]

Please do not remove the edit tags from this article. They are there to give you and other editors guidance on how to improve the article. -- Mapetite526 15:16, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have not seen much guidance except to never want to add anything to this website again. If you can help that is great, specific things, if all you can be is a critic then please dont bother.

External link[edit]

Regarding this external link, removed from the article to here:

http://www.bigfloridacountry.com/mysteryfunhouse/MFH%20Animatronics%20Clip.wmv

It doesn't work in my Firefox browser. I know it's not a problem with my system as I see other .wmv files no problem. In fact it's pretty nasty, if I didn't have 1 gig of RAM it probably would have crashed my machine as it tries to load the entire binary as an ascii text file into the browser page. It does work ok in IE.

Also, it is common courtesy to warn readers when directly linking to a multi-media file with (.wmv) (there may even be a more official looking Wikipedia graphic) - not everyone has broadband and/or a player that supports .wmv. -- Stbalbach 13:32, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Then use internet explorer like 90 % of the other people to. Dont remove something just because it does not work for a broswer that people is not working correctly.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Scottnj1966 (talkcontribs) .

Please don't engage in an edit war over this. The link is bad in a serious way, it can easily crash machines. Should you persist in an edit war by willfully restoring this malicious link knowing full well that it can harm other people, I will ask for an administrator to either lock your account or this article. Further it is considered bad practice to link directly to multi-media files directly in a Wikipedia article without proper notice. -- Stbalbach 03:41, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just read some of yhe policies of Wikipedia. You seem to have made a bit up. I am going to not worry about this for awhile. Just please leave me alone. I do not like to be harrassed. Thank you.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Scottnj1966 (talkcontribs) .

I'm sorry that you are taking everything so personally. We are trying to help you improve the article. I personally see nothing wrong with including the .wmv link, but it would be a good idea to include it in the "external links" section rather than in the body of the article because people do like to be warned before going to an outside website. -- Mapetite526 19:47, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The link is bad. It crashes Firefox browsers. -- Stbalbach 03:03, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
