Naming of Mystery Bay[edit]

The precise year of naming, and by whom, is also a mystery The earliest mention of Mystery Bay on Trove was this entry in Vol. 42 No. 2145 (24 Mar 1921) p.22 of The Bulletin:

"Pick": ... On the sandbar of Mystery Bay, where Lamont Young's party did the disappearing act many years ago...
