Edit by 74.67.10.238[edit]

Yahiko's name comes from a temple on Mt. Yahiko and in any case, it's not "evidence" of a future romance between Yahiko and Tsubame. Therefore, I've decided to move 74.67.10.238's edit to the discussion page. Seven 07:36, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Further evidence of a future romance between Myojin Yahiko and Sanjo Tsubame is the source of their names. Yahiko's name seems to come from Mt. Yahiko in Japan. Naming male strong characters in manga seems popular (take Hiei, from "YYH", using Mt. Hiei as a skilled fighter's name).

Here is a paragraph from a review of Yahiko Station. [1]...

As I made my way to JR Yahiko Station, first on the Joetsu Shinkansen outbound service from Tokyo and then on the two-carriage train of the Yahiko Line from Tsubame-sanjo Station, I could see Mt. Yahiko loom as I looked out the left window and then the right as the train weaved through the valleys.

Note the naming of Yahiko Station and the mention of his sweetheart's name... Tsubame-sanjo.

I tried including the trivia in the article. Kalindoscopy (talk) 22:06, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu - Katachi[edit]

Wondering if we should edit in the 'Katachi' Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu technique that's exhibited in the short story 'Yahiko no Sakabatou'. I believe the story is considered cannon, since it aligns with all plot devices from the 'body' of the manga.

Any in favor? Kishyotai 14:38, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

yes........its "Hadachi" by the way is is the ougi of the kamiya school

Plot Overview[edit]

I'm surprised that this is blank. I haven't finished the series yet, so someone can have a shot at it. -Paper-Fan (talk) 08:26, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comments[edit]

Lead[edit]

  • You should change "practise" to "practice". I'm basing this off of google hits and some user might be confused, IMO. I was at first.
  • English-language should not be linked, see WP:OVERLINKING. I believe people who use the English Wikipedia would know what the English-language is.
  • Kamiya Kasshin-Ryū should be in the nihongo tag. Since you have the translation for his other attacks, you should add the translation for Kamiya Kasshin-Ryū.

Creation and conception[edit]

  • I noticed that this section doesn't have that many sources. Does the one source provided in this section for each paragraph cover the whole section?
    • Yes, The author has a whole page to talk about the creation each character from the series.Tintor2 (talk) 12:50, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
      • Well could you use the <ref name=" "> thingy to cite some the sentences?

Character outline[edit]

Personality[edit]

  • A source for "Tokyo Samurai" would be great. Also since it is a title it should be in quotes, not apostrophes.
  • Since Kamiya Kasshin-Ryū is mention here first it should be in the nihongo tag.

Techniques[edit]

  • Take Kamiya Kasshin-Ryū out of the nihongo tag.

Reception[edit]

Once the concerns above have been addressed contact me and I'll decided whether it passes or fails. MS (Talk|Contributions) 01:52, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
