Is it true, Sid and Marty Krofft canceled Mutt & Stuff?[edit]

I heard from Comic Con the Kroffts confirmed Mutt & Stuff was ending after 73 episodes, but then I read on Wikipedia that this show was put on hiatus. I know both Sid and Marty are busy with the new Sigmund and the Sea Monsters and also recently produced a pilot regarding an updated preschool version of The Bugaloos for Nickelodeon. I'm confused though, if the show isn't canceled, wouldn't the Kroffts announce something like they are continuing Mutt & Stuff??? This just seems bizarre! I really think this show is being canceled because the last episodes are playing on Nick Jr's channel, that usually happens with Nick shows when they want them to end. I dunno but I find it strange there isn't any new updates.
