Structure thoughts[edit]

As I mentioned here, an article that mentions covers of soundtrack songs should have a "Legacy" section or similar to add them in. As the article develops, it should eventually be summarized in the lead so people can learn even from a quick glance. That means at least mentioning the three soundtracks and that there were covers, which is why I'd prefer the name "Music of Cutie Honey" so that no one gets confused and starts deleting sections and info about them for scope reasons. Of course, that's if you want covers mentioned (I do). --an odd name 21:09, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(Note edit conflict. Reponce is to the earlier post.)

Some kind of merge history can be placed in this (or other) articles talk page, but I do not believe that a "Legacy" section should exist in the article itself. As for the covers they should be included in the merge. It can be decided later if it is necessary to remove them. -- allennames 21:26, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have made some changes to the page. -- allennames 22:14, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If there is reception or legacy information available, it is crucial to add it to the article. They are usually required if you are aiming for FL status (although the amount of entries might be a problem), and helps with the whole. G.A.Stalk 05:15, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that you are right with the use of Italicized section titles (====H4====). G.A.Stalk 05:15, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
For me to seek Featured List status would be hubris. My main concern is the merge. -- allennames 05:42, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. The short term priority is to merge the information. If you do not have the information readily available, it is fine not to include it at this time, but it should however be included in due course. However having a long term goal always helps:). More information[edit]

I have been getting information from Discogs and MusicBrainz and I am going to try to find out something about Rhythm Zone (Asia) -- allennames 00:17, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is an article on Avex Group that has a link to the website. I am however unable to read Japanese. I think getting sources for Cutey Honey: TV Original B.M.G. Collection may be the hardest. -- allennames 00:37, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The following link may help. JBOOK:テレビオリジナルBGMコレクション キューティーハニー:TVサントラ:CD
I will keep looking until I either find another source or 9pm tonight. -- allennames 23:49, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I found more sources. Like the one above they are all in Japanese but they should be useful.
I will check the article later. -- allennames 00:25, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Original soundtrack's release date[edit]

The Animex page (translated) says the first release of Cutey Honey: TV Original B.G.M. Collection was on May 21, 1982, and only mentions 1973 as the year the base series first aired. If you (any reader of this page) do believe you have a Honey soundtrack from 1973, or have a reliable source that mentions one, reply below—I'm curious! --an odd name 02:43, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
