palestinians are syrians[edit]

all sources of the 20th century including their own note that , they speak a syrian dialect and their self identity has arisen in a reaction to jewish presence in palestine (a place rather than an ethnic group , which contained many ethnic groups over it's history) failure to constantly note that peculiarity when it's called for (the relation) is technically SOAP. 79.176.49.28 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:47, 28 March 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Very badly written article[edit]

What is really the purpose of this article? It does not give any insight at all on its titular issue. It seems more like a list of personal thoughts on the matter that do not convey any meaningful information, at least not something that would warrant a whole article. Especially the paragraph "Ethnic and cultural diversity within Islam" is totally absurd, with info such as "Iraqi people are natives or inhabitants of the country of Iraq". Really? No kidding?

I think this article on the whole has no reason to exist. But then again, it's just my opinion. Steloukos (talk) 10:40, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Needs a rewrite[edit]

I think this is a good article to have, particularly since there are a LOT of authors writing on this subject(Bruce Bawer, Robert Spencer, Ayaan Hirsi Ali), but this isn't written at all like an encyclopedia article. For example, a few times it just says "They" do X--"They" being who, exactly? Not everyone else is on your thought train. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.255.195.165 (talk) 04:00, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

The reference [13] is not correct. I do not know how to access the Reflist as this is the only thing that displays in my editor:

Anyway, the correct reference should go like this:

'War' on the streets... http://www.thepressnews.co.uk/NewsDetails.asp?id=1169 Retrieved 2011-04-09.

Please, correct it or instruct me how to do it. Thanks.
