Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Mudgal has a huge part on existence of ancient Punjab. He ruled over Panchal, ancient Punjab, as a Rajarshi -- ruling a kingdom and side by side gaining Brahmatva (Enlightenment of hinduism). He was one of the Rajarshi including Vishwamitra and his contributions to Vedic Religion is vast that he shouldn't be forgotten. He wrote about 108 sukta's or hyms in Rigveda. He was the teacher of Lord Ganesha and the only existing Rishi with his name over a Purana, the Mudgala Purana. Moreover, Mudagala cannot be forgotten because his descendants later on went to form castes like Upreti, Koirala, Simkhada, and many more. I myself have a gotra Maudgalya, who was Mudgal's son. (Gotra is an ancient clan system with a biological significance stating that people from same clan shouldn't marry otherwise their offspring will suffer of deadly disease.) Therefore, my only wish is that Rajarshi Mudgal is someone who should be preserved in this wikipedia so that my coming generation, including anyone else's coming generation who has some connection with this great sage can read about his legends, his works, and his greatness. Therefore, I appeal that Rajarshi Mudgal shouldn't be deleted. Moreover, I suggest please return this article with a subject Rishi Mudgal in bracket Rajarshi Mudgal because I think Rishi Mudgal will have more better SEO over Rajarshi Mudgal.
