Versions[edit]

It claims there was a 1920 edition. But the two slightly different copies of Mountain Interval I've seen are both labeled "Copyright, 1916, 1921" and one has a 1921 on the title page.--71.232.127.37 (talk) 22:05, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was posting here to make a similar point. I recently replaced the spammy resource link on the article with a gutenberg version and it says 1916 and 1921 as well. But then you got me thinking, so I checked, and the library of congress https://www.loc.gov/rr/program/bib/frost/ says "1920" and links to a dead website called "bartlebys.com" - it was the first search result when it was live, so it was likely someone's honest mistake but in this case and given the lack of discussion here since 2008 and your logic matching mine as well, I will update the page to reflect the title page of the gutenberg version, which states both 1916 and 1921. ^[1] only even cites the 1916 version - I searched for all instances of '1920' '1921' and 'mountain interval' in the book and there was nothing to suggest a version was published in 1920, although it's possible some of the poems contained were published in magazine form in other years, the actual work 'Mountain Interval' seems to only have those two publishing dates. The interesting question is when and how the misinformation was born on the internet - because if it is an error, it's on the library of congress page, has been on this page for a while as well. This should be discussed, I am not sure if this is the right place regarding the larger issue though. EspritsPréparés (talk) 00:01, 1 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
