Lead[edit]

  • "Malone began his pro career" - professional

Early life[edit]

  • "Mary kicked her husband out due to his alcohol use." - kicked out is informal
    • Does "Mary forced her husband to move out of their home" work better? – Muboshgu (talk) 21:27, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Utah Stars[edit]

Spirits of St. Louis[edit]

Buffalo Braves[edit]

  • "had also acquired power forward Maurice Lucas in the draft and believed they had acquired two players" - reptition of acquired

Houston Rockets[edit]

  • "The following season in 1980–81 season," - reword to In the following 1980–81 season,
  • Be consitent in how career high is written as either hypenated or not
  • "Days later on February 11 against the Seattle SuperSonics, " - Nine days later,

Philadelphia 76ers[edit]

  • The New York Times should be italized since it is a printed publication

Washington Bullets[edit]

  • Wikilink double-double for non-basketball readers

Atlanta Hawks[edit]

  • "had won at least 50 games the prior three season" - had won at least 50 games in the prior three seasons
  • Add a link to Phoenix Suns

Milkawakee Suns[edit]

  • "reportedly for a $1.6 million salary in the first season and a $2 million salary" - replaced the emboldened text to wage to avoid reptition
    • Changed it to "Malone was reported to earn $1.6 million in the first season and $2 million for the second season" instead – Muboshgu (talk) 21:35, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Player profile[edit]

  • "and five other times he finished in the top-3." - top three

References[edit]

  • References 1, 39, 81 needs the date it was published
  • Reference 34 is missing the author who wrote the article and its publication date
  • United Press International needs to be added in as the agency for Reference 47
  • References 15, 19, 20, 30, 46, 49, 87 & 89 are missing Associated Press as the agency of their respective works
  • Reference 76 needs archiving and the date it was published

The prose itself is overall good but some minor issues with it and the references will need addressing before it can have any chance of passing as a GA. MWright96 (talk) 18:55, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review. I'll get on this in the next day or so. It's possible I may have time this afternoon but I'm not sure. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:01, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Since all of the queries above have been addressed, this article can now be promoted to GA class. MWright96 (talk) 07:14, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
