Where did this curious name come from? Serbia is nowhere near Moravia. This should be explained in the article.—Emil J. 12:36, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

The country was located in areas adjacent to three rivers that bear the name Morava- West Morava and South Morava that unite and form a "Grand" Morava that flows to the Danube. Morava is a pan-Slavic toponym. Anonymous
