I hope to add more pictures and information here later. I've just gotten home from my midnight shift of work :D, but after some sleep I may start tracking more information down.

It looks like a lot of the info was gleaned from my moondials page linked at the bottom, I'm flattered, thanks. Bit puzzled about the comment on lunar gardening though. The link between lunar gardening and moondials is not strong, although I think a living moondial of nightflowering plants would be pretty cool, but I don't know of any!Pignut 15:24, 2 July 2007 (UTC)pignut[reply]

I don't mean to be critical, but the when I access the linke concerning lunar gardening, I am routed to a page relating to the topic of impact crators having a tilling like effect on surface deposits on planets and moons having little or no atmosphere. If acceptible I will search the wiki and find a link to a more appropriate entry which I will suggest here if such a link is available. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.6.238.198 (talk) 07:00, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Right on night of full moon, really?[edit]

The claim that such clocks are correct on the day of the full moon definitely needs sourcing, as it conflicts with my OR understanding that there will be an error band of about ± 24 minutes.
