I suggest changing the title to Monarchy in Georgia- far better English. JohnC (talk) 00:52, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

JohnC I see your point but if it were that it would express the Idea that a monarchy exists I think a better title is needed though. Nate Riley 19:37, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The poll asking about support was online therefore it did not say ask use a poll say for example 45% men 55% women because that is the nummber of men to women as well there are sub-clans or groups in Georgia and if the Monarchy is from one of the smaller groups monarch would have less support because of this at least the different %s of the clans should have been taken into account as well if many people from Russia, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia voted they likely would vote anti-monarchy or not that I can see the other choices I am speaking about online polls (not that I know what that is since the link is down) lastly If it were simply monarchy many would vote no since that would include no democracy but Constitutional Monarchy may get many more votes. I think it should be removed simply for these reason and the link is dead. -- Nate Riley 19:37, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration not technically impossible[edit]

There are arguments for and against a restoration. But to say that "skeptics say the restoration of the monarchy is technically impossible due to several reasons including the number of candidates and an unsettled question of succession to the Georgian throne" is confusing political opposition with whether it is technically possible. The succession may be disputed, but that cannot be said to make a restoration "technically impossible". It is not unusual for succession to thrones to be disputed.101.98.74.13 (talk) 23:43, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Thanks for pointing out this important distinction. FactStraight (talk) 00:19, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
