While reading the Talk Page for the article on Kashmir here I noticed that there was considerable controversy over whether Misr Diwan Chand should be listed as having conquered Kashmir at any point. The most recent decision was to remove his name from the article altogether. Despite this, the article here on Misr Diwan Chand is quoted as saying "A Brahmin, he rose from petty clerk to chief of artillery and commander-in-chief of the armies that conquered Multan and Kashmir". This discrepancy seems notable enough that one of the two pages should be changed for consistency's sake. I will note this on the Kashmir page as well. Misr Diwan Chand died of cholera at Lahore on 18 July 1825
