Notability[edit]

The notability of Gonczarska seems to depend solely on her being a graduate of maharat and as such any criticism of maharat directly applies to Gonczarska as well. I therefore propose to restore the following material:

On 3.11.2015 the Moetzes of Agudath Israel of America declared Open Orthodoxy, Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, Yeshivat Maharat and other affiliated entities to be similar to other dissident movements throughout Jewish history in having rejected basic tenets of Judaism.[1][2][3]

You're mistaken, once again. The sources don't mention Gonczarska, and that makes them inappropriate for this biography of a living person. Please read WP:No original research. 107.10.236.42 (talk) 12:53, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
IP, you missed my main point. Gonczarska is not notable except as a representative of O.O. (at least there is nothing on the page that would establish such notability). This page should either be redirected to open orthodoxy or treated as an aspect of O.O., including the Orthodox viewpoint on the latter. Council2 (talk) 13:12, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't miss your "main point" because you never stated it. First, is there a single source that says Gonczarska is "a representative of Open Orthodoxy"? Second, there was already a deletion discussion that concluded that Gonczarska satisfies Wikipedia's notability requirements. So unless you're prepared to start another deletion discussion (see WP:AfD for further information), you're barking up the wrong tree. 63.116.31.198 (talk) 18:27, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
