Ibn Khasib

"Minya's name became attached to Ibn Khasib, the appointed benevolent and almost legendary ruler of Egypt in the early 9th century." I don't want to challenge this, but could someone with an Egyptian history background write a page for Ibn Khasib. Greek and Coptic etymologies unsourced

Only the Ancient Egyptian etymology seems to be sourced, and even that one is doubted by the 19th-century source who gives it. As for the Greek sources, they are from Antiquity and appear to be explaining who Minyas and the Minyans were without claiming a connection with the Egyptian city, which would make this rather blatant original research.--79.100.144.23 (talk) 21:59, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
