GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Milwaukee Airport Railroad Station/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

This is quite a good article, but needs some improvements before it can be passed as a GA:

  • Some of the prose isn't terrific, and could do with a bit of a copyedit - i.e. "The idea of opening an Amtrak station in the vicinity of Mitchell Airport is one that had been discussed on and off since the mid-1970s", "State and local economic development officials saw its construction as an opportunity for persons from the Chicagoland area to use the station as an airport rail link to reach General Mitchell International Airport as an alternative for Chicago's Midway and O'Hare airports.".
  • This isn't an obstacle to GA status - but is there any way the article could be further expanded? I realise it's a relatively new station, but is there anything else that could be said, especially about the decision to build the station after all and its construction? • I have added additional history regarding financing of the station in addition to revising several sentences for overall composition and flow. Thank you for taking the time to take a look at this and commenting. It is appreciated! Patriarca12 (talk) 19:06, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
      • Looks good to me. Passing accordingly. Cheers :) Rebecca (talk) 04:12, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
