Sourcing and notability[edit]

I am distressed to see editors—including recently Kasper2006 and Bachounda—using IMDb as a source here. It can be edited by anyone, just like Wikipedia. We can't use it for referencing anything, especially on an article about a living person; that's policy. If nowhere else has a birthdate for him, then we can't have a birthdate. (I checked his agency page.) If nowhere else other than his own showreel refs his bit part in the Bond film, then that either needs to be omitted or needs to keep the "better source needed" tag. The referencing in this article is poor. If he hasn't had a few articles written about him or segments on chatty TV/video channels that cover celebrities, then his notability is in doubt and the notability tag needs to stay, because that's how we determine notability: extended coverage in multiple reliable sources. And I'm just not seeing that, or finding it myself. The alternative is for someone to nominate the article for deletion. Please find more press coverage of this actor using your knowledge of and access to Italian media, which are undoubtedly better than mine, and add them, and then the tags can be removed and there even be more information to add to the article. Right now, all that the article shows is that he gets small roles and he's won one local award. Yngvadottir (talk) 09:04, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am not very active on English Wikipedia, unless if i want to translate to English or spread information from Arabic and French to English, as well as creating new articles, you're welcome to do what needs to be done to be in accordance with the policy applied on WpEn. To defend my Edits; I agree that he is not a well known actor - in short he is not a star :), but we know him very well in Algeria because he is an Algerian and he emigrated to Italy - he shoots a lot of films in Italy in Italian, Maybe I'm a bit too much of a fan for the Algerian content :), because I think it should be enriched, but I thank you for this very interesting clarification, and I will take note of it in the future. If you have any changes to make to the article you are welcome - your help is valuable. --Bachounda (talk) 10:18, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't been able to find more sources, or I would have added them. If there's anything more in Arabic (or French) that you can add, that would be great, providing it isn't just a forum or a personal blog, any sort of magazine coverage would be useful.
