One Haran or two ?[edit]

The articles has two different voices - one regards Haran the brother of Abraham and Nahor as the same as Haran the father of Milcah whilst the other views them as two. Neither voice cites sources.

I had thought about clarifying with "some commentators" - but that would deserve a "who ?" - and I don't know. -- Beardo (talk) 08:17, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It overstates to say that there were no sources, as the discussion cites Lev. 18:14, 20:19; Gunther Plaut, The Torah: a Modern Commentary, 881. New York: UAHC, 1981; and Babylonian Talmud Yevamot 62b-63a, Sanhedrin 69b. I've credited Rabbi Isaac at the top to clarify. -- Dauster (talk) 10:20, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
