Searching for more sources[edit]

I was searching for some more sources and found that this particular show is difficult to form a good search query for. The word "Midst" seems to be used quite a bit in articles about religion and crises (i.e. covid). Paring it with "podcast" results in a lot of podcasts about religion and crises. The hosts are anonymous so we can't add the host names to the query. Adding the genre is also difficult because it can be written scifi, sci-fi, or science fiction. Based on that, these were the best search queries I could come up with:

"Midst" "podcast" "Third Person" -religion -christian -christianity -crisis -crises -covid -coronavirus -disaster -environmental -warming
"Midst" "podcast" "Metapigeon" -religion -christian -christianity -crisis -crises -covid -coronavirus -disaster -environmental -warming
"Midst" "podcast" "Critical Role" -religion -christian -christianity -crisis -crises -covid -coronavirus -disaster -environmental -warming

So far the best sources that I've found that aren't already cited are CBR, TechRaptor, Bleeding Cool, and Starburst Magazine. There was an article written by someone named Andrea Towers that was re-printed in The Caledonian Record, The Gwinnett Daily Post, and TV Insider. A few sources that I found that didn't seem quite as reliable included GN24, Samachar Central (this is a reprint of the Bleeding Cool article), podpod.com. I also found some non-English sources such as a French website called Crumpe.com that have covered the podcast.

I'll do some more searching later and see what else I can find. TipsyElephant (talk) 13:51, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I was running into that issue as well. Radio Drama Revival had two interviews with the creators in 2020 (Midst – 'Unrise' & 'Secrets' & Midst – Third Person Productions) but they were pulled at request of the Midst team (it's unclear to me when it was pulled but one of them definitely included the first names of all 3 creators). A lot on Midst (their website, socials, etc) was scrubbed after the acquisition (and before the announced relaunch) which has also made it hard to verify some stuff. Fortunately, the original RSS was archived so I used that for the original release dates. Thanks for taking a look! Sariel Xilo (talk) 16:36, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I found a short bit in Vulture that might be useful for a reception section. TipsyElephant (talk) 18:52, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
