Review scores:[edit]

Famitsu updated their site, and included their review of the game, giving it a 20/40 score. They didn't like it, it seems. Sega Retro page for this game lists several other scores.

  • Fun Generation (DE) - 40/100
  • Joypad - 20/100
  • neXt Level (DE) 65/100
  • Sega saturn magazine (JP) 76/100

@Harizotoh9:If you can find the issues where the first and third reviews were featured, i'll add them to the review table. Have a good day mate! Roberth Martinez (talk) 07:42, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's on the sega retro page for this game. I suggest checking it out. It's all listed there, including scans fo the pages. Harizotoh9 (talk) 07:44, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Harizotoh9:The ones i'm missing so far are Fun Generation (DE) and next Level. Roberth Martinez (talk) 09:55, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like you found them. They are in german, and G is easy to translate into English. These should be the basis for the article. Also, I see you added Allgame on there. See, I think they're a RS, but I don't think their reviews are particularily note worthy, so I try to keep them off of the review scoreboard. I've never heard of someone caring about any of their reviews. And their strategy was to hire some people to just mass review games to build a data-base. I consider their reviews pretty low tier. Retro Gamer also has some profiles on Border Down, and they talk to the producer who says they were inspired by Metal Black. That'd be a good reference for the legacy section. Harizotoh9 (talk) 21:28, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Japanese Sega Saturn Magazine would have definitely covered the game, both in preview and as a review. Harizotoh9 (talk) 04:40, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The source I added is a two page news article from Shooting Gameside 7. It focuses on the soundtrack release, and I don't know how valuable it is. It has some kind of interview but I'm not sure if it's with those releasing the new score or the original dev composers.

Also found a two page Famitsu preview. Japanese of course. Harizotoh9 (talk) 06:20, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
