Not very festive[edit]

If we are going to talk about a rock festival here, shouldn't we try and get the look and feel of a rock festival onto the page? --Dr Finkbottle 08:13, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Special guests" at the MELT! festival[edit]

Since 2005 a small group of people is gathering on the parking-place at the middle bus-stop in order to make the MELT! festival a bit more fun.

They are called "The freaks of the bus-stop" and are inviting all kind of performing musicians to their truck and offer them the chance to perform for free.

This year, around 20 people had the chance to show their talents to a small but very inspired crowd standing in fromt of and in the truck. Free drinks and free beach-balls were given out.

On the official homepage of the MELT! festival they have most of the postings and they are planning to come back in 2008.

Every year, "The freaks of the busstop" have a few guests travelling with them but the core goup consists of a small punk-group which is called "Strahlemann und Söhne" from Leipzig (D). They did not produce any CD or other sound-recording which was for sale, the only chance to meet them is on their favourite spot at the festival.
