Sorry to necrobump this; I agree that the tour needs to be acknowledged, but unless it has several "non-trivial" sources to back up its notability, it can't have its own article. Otherwise, I suggest a small subsection for it on the album. Persistent vandalism due to rape allegations

Users such as Dadstootz have been vandalizing this article, calling her "Felony Martinez" and a "rapist." Not only does this violate NPOV, but it's potentially libelous since the allegations have not been proven. Is this page semi-protected yet? Innocent people have been falsely accused in the past, such as Kobe Bryant, so she may very well be innocent. I have seen tweets that appear to implicate Ms. Heller as having lied for attention ([1], [2], [3]), but surely Wikipedia might want stronger evidence. Just because somebody says something doesn't make it true. But in any case, these edits are disruptive and blatant vandalism. Thanks. PF4Eva (talk) 09:11, 6 December 2017 (UTC)

Martinez's second statement

Martinez's second statement seems to confirm that Heller made the whole thing up. According to Heller's interview with Newsweek [4], the sexual assault happened June 25, 2015. However, Martinez was in New York [5] and Heller was in LA [6]. Without getting into specifics, a lot of things don't add up, and Martinez's most recent statement appears to confirm this. The entire statement is undue weight and clearly attempts to tip the balance against Heller. The brief way it's presented today is neutral and balanced. "Never said no"

In the rape allegation section, it says that apparently Heller "never said no". However, this is misleading, because although in this context it makes it seem as if Martinez is confirming rape, just saying that Heller never said no. However, this is misleading. What Martinez was actually saying was "She never said no to anything we did together". Id suggest we extend this quote out to here to avoid any misconceptions

Shouldn't She and The Elder Be Disambiguated?

Both Peyton Lists have already been disambiguated. And she is a famous singer from New York while the elder who's 23 years her senior was a host for what was formerly named Sprout.

So should the article be renamed to Melanie Adele Martinez just to avoid confusion with the not so famous other. May or may not happen.

They already are disambiguated. This article is located at "Melanie Martinez (singer)" and the one for Melanie Martinez the actress is at "Melanie Martinez (actress)". I don't see the confusion. Why would we want to change the method of disambiguation? -- irn (talk) 06:11, 21 December 2018 (UTC)

Add Alternative R&B to her genres

Melanie Martinez fuses many different instruments with a lot of R&B inspired music. Songs such as Play Date, which features some R&B tings & a singing style of the sort, as well as her new After School EP show Melanie as a alternative R&B artist with a lot of the songs fusing alternative pop with R&B, creating alternative R&B.
