Low-importance? Unique or highly unusual bird behaviours[edit]

I am no ornithologist and don't want to start something I am incompetent in, but I was surprised to find this article a stub.

Melanesian megapodes (Bismarck grouse, thermometer chicken or lava birds), seem unique in burying their eggs in volcanic soil and abandoning the chicks.
