Redirect to Dmitry Medvedev?[edit]

Maybe one should make redirect to Dmitry Medvedev? Probably overall majority of those looking for "Medvedev" are looking for the Russian president. VZakharov (talk) 08:58, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree Storms991 (talk) 22:21, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. Medvedev is the 30th (IIRC) most common surname in Russia and there are a few people who are also quite prominent. Andrey Medvedev, a famous tennis player, Zhores Medvedev, a famous gerontologist, etc. Paranoid (talk) 16:11, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge or renaming[edit]

I suggest to merge this disambiguation page with Medvedev (disambiguation) page. It is enough one page for "Medvedev". Besides, it simply a list of people with surname Medvedev, but title is "surname", i think that title for an article is about the surname, such as Wilson (surname), Smith (surname), etc. Another variation: renaming this article to List of people with surname Medvedev and for article about the surname to create "Medvedev (surname)" article-stub. — Al3xil  22:22, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
