Col. Philip / Phillipus Schuyler[edit]

I was thinking that an article about him would be very interesting. From what I have been able to discern (but need to verify with good sources), he was a member of the Assembly, was a peacemaker and friend to Native Americans, had a lot of very interesting guests at his house - so I am guessing intellectual curiosity and of interest to others, helped develop the Flatts area between Troy and Albany. His monument is lovely! But, there is confusion among sources between this Philip Schuyler and a likely nephew. In addition, most of this information is coming from quality articles (yay!) from wordpress and blog sites (arghh). If anyone has an idea of how to unlock the information about Philip Schuyler (1696-1758), son of Pieter Schuyler and Maria Van Rensselaer, I would appreciate it!–CaroleHenson (talk) 21:48, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
