I cant add the Spanish / Español link to wiki[edit]

I get the following error: "Edit not allowed: Site link eswiki:Equus ferus caballus already used by item Q726." This of course because the "Ygua" (Mare) article is simply a link to the main "Horse" article, but still, shouldnt this article be able to somehow link there too? The correct Spanish link is http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yegua

Anyone knows how to correct?

No clue, but I know there is some wikimedia-wide project to consolidate interwiki links in one place. See User:Addbot which seems to be migrating a lot of them, maybe the bot's owner can figure it out. Montanabw(talk) 02:37, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mare/Filly Age Is Inconsistent[edit]

The Mare page says that a mare is older than three years and in racing older than four. The Filly page says that a mare is less than four years old and in racing less than five. Which one is correct? 172.56.42.6 (talk) 16:50, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Same difference...basically. Older than three = less than four

Illustration of a cross-section of a pregnant mare[edit]

That's not a pregnant mare, that's a mare giving birth. Is there a more accurate image available?
