did you ever wonder how the name Mangan ended up in Afghanistan? I believe it was a stop over spot on one of the first Silk Road stop overs along with the towns of Mangan, India that is situated at a trail over to Tibet. the Silk Road started in Constantinople now know as Istanbul. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eaamon (talkcontribs) 16:16, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
