Nationality[edit]

Malaco company is actually original not a Swedish company, or Danish and Swedish company Malaco, but Malaco is actually original a Danish company or Maybe a Danish and Swedish company Malaco. https://da.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaco Spidy30 (talk) 14:05, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Spidy30: I think you are wrong. Malaco was founded in Sweden and has always been located in Sweden. The brand is now owned by a Swedish company. The only thing that connects it to Denmark is the nationality of its founders. [Here are ten US companies founded by foreigners and I don't think that you would have any success convincing Wikipedia editors that they, therefore, aren't American.
However, any discussion about the contents of the article should really take place at Talk:Malaco. You are welcome to add your thoughts there, but please explain your reasoning behind the above assertion. Reliable sources will help your case.Sjö (talk) 08:43, 29 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Malaco was actually founded in Copenhagen, Denmark — Preceding unsigned comment added by Spidy30 (talkcontribs) 13:41, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Please provide a source for that statement. I haven't seen any source that says anything but that it was founded in Malmö, Sweden. This source (p. 79) even suggests that it wasn't Lagerman that founded the company but a former salesman for Lagerman. But still says the comnpany started in Malmö.Sjö (talk) 14:17, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
